Anybody can explain me the difference between an arranger keyboard and a regular synth? and arranger would be more like a workstation right?

It's has many more different styles and patches for songwriting then a typical keyboard.

it's like a band in a box 
there are various ryhtm types in it, you just play a chord (in "fingered" mode), and it'll play basses, drums and other accompanying instruments for that chord.
it's useful for one-mand-bands, you just play the chord and sing, and if you want, you can play the melody with your right hand.
