What Else Do I Need!!

HELP ME SPEND MY MONEY...

ok so i ordered the presonus firebox and a firewire PCI card off ebay...patiently awaiting.

bought a Legend Radeon 9550 AGP 128mb graphics card yesterday.
1 Gig Ram and dvd burner adn 120gb hardisk which was all easily installed.

computer is a Dell pentium 4 (2.0Ghz) that i got from work for practically nothing as we upgraded.

will this be adequate for when my firebox/cubase le arrives???



what else do i need???

firstly ill just be recording guitars direct...so will i need a preamp such as a podxt or will software like guitarrig/amplitude be a better purchase???

oh i forgot to add...the firebox will be connected up to a early 90's yamaha pro logic 75w amp with B&W Dm303 bookshelf speakers for monitors unitl i can research which monitors i want.

also have to buy a nice computer table and a chair! fucken endless spending cycle ...and i havent even gotton around to buy mics,mics stands, cables...

Yes your PC should work fine.

I would stay away from those software amp modelers. I've played around with some demo versions and I think the POD's, V-Amps etc sound better.

Of course those don't beat a real tube amp.
