what do you think of thhe "super audio" cds

are they hype or is the sound quality really 5 times better. for all i know these CDs may of been around for a while, i just seen an article on them and decided to run it by here.

Lol, what a load of dip marketing. 24bit/96kHz but you will only notice a difference if you're specifically looking for it.

I have never heard the new format but I guess it would be pretty useless unless you had a SACD player. From what I understand a SACD will come with both 16 and 24 bit so what you hear depends on the player.
