What do you do with the "ambience" drum track?

Im using Drumkit from hell superior and im at a bit of a loss as to what to do with the ambience track. when i solo all the drums i can hear the difference of it being present or not. if i play all the tracks at once i cant really hear any difference unless its turned up full, so there's probably not any point in me using it i imagine. it doesnt seem to add to the sound in any way.

so what do you do with your drum ambience track, assuming you record and use one?

I have not used DFH, but maybe the ambience track is better without the close mic'd drums turned up?

The ambience is better used as a fill. Do not layer them[unless you just want a support for your drums]
