The announcement was made on 23/02/15 without so much as a twitch.
"On 1st March 2015 the Cave will cease to exist.
The time has come to shut down the cave.
Based on feedback provided by members of the Home Recording and Audiofanzine Feedback forums and other threads, The Mods and Admins have unanimously decided that the Cave and its content are no longer something that brings value to HR.
To have a forum dominated by inappropriate content and trolling is something HR no longer wants to be connected with.
Prime Time will continue to be available as an off-topic forum."
