Waves platinum for $350

Don't forget to read the fine print: the plugs are UN-registerable- you won't be able to get upgrades or support from Waves. May well be worth $350 if you're willing to lock your system into v4.0.

If you want some *righteous* plugs on the cheap and don't plan on updating your system for a few years, I'd snag it. On the other hand, these awesome plugs could easily become a reason to NOT update your system when you really should. That's the case where I work: still running Mac OS 9.2 because we can't afford updating Waves to the OS X versions. And I really want OS X. Oh, well.
