Wah-wah for clavinet/ keys

Hi,

I am looking into getting a wah-wah pedal, and I would mostly like to use it with a clavinet patch I have on my keyboard, and secondarily for use with guitar.

Are there wahs that are designed more for keyboard use, as oposed to guitar use, or are most wahs the same...

Let me know. I'm looking in the $50 - $100 range if that changes anything.

Good question.

Does anyone know specifics? Like:

What pedal did Billy Preston use on his clav?

What pedal did Chick Corea use on his Rhodes?

Did Joe Sample use a wah to get that super-bright Rhodes sound? What kind? (note - I used to use a Mutron Bi-phase with the pattern switch in mid-position, came pretty close...).

And sonusman might know this, since he did some of their sessions:

What wah pedal did Porterhouse use on the clav for Thumbs Up, Little Buddy?

I've been using a Vox wah that I've had (was a gift actually) for over a decade. There's no name attached to it (ala "Cry Baby"), it just says VOX.

I used it for LA Woman when I was with the Soft Parade and have used it for fun with a lot of improve stuff. Mostely Rhodes and synths.
