i am new to home recording and have just picked up a copie of cubase sx.im having problems with the vst when i put the vb1 drum michine through my midi it has a delay on it .
 
It's called "latency". You can do a search of the site on it and pull up lot's of info. You will need to optimize your soundcard and possibly update your soundcard driver to minimize it.
 
Soundcards with "ASIO drivers" such as M-audio cards, eliminate this latency problem...

The Delta 44 is a bargan.
