i just received my vsr 880.
bought the floor demo since they were out of stock and i found out that the demo models come loaded with the fx card.
the manual is next to useless to an old analog lotek like me.
there is lots of info on what the machine can do but no intructions on how to make it perform the basic functions.
no info on how to create a song though i can probably figure that one out.
the manual text indicates that the shutdown procedure should be followed in order to protect the hard drive and save data.....
but there are no instructions as to how to perform the sequence!
does anybody know where i can get some kind of user reference?
the roland info fax no. was "not in service"
i've read other complaints about roland manuals.
i'll keep dicking around with it and hope i don't screw it up and will be ever so grateful for any info you kind folks can provide.
