SYS INIT.DRIVE=NODRV
This is the error message I get when I try to re-boot my VSR-880.
We were recording today and after about three hours I got the dreaded "drive busy" error message. After several unsuccessful attempts to get the last song to play, I decided to re-boot by hitting "shift re-start". It scans and recognizes the SCSI and IDE drives but will not get past this error message and boot up.
Is there a way to "hard start" the VSR? Have we lost everything on the 6 gig hard drive?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
