Anyone ever use VS Pro with one of the Roland studio boxes? I've got a VS880, and I've been looking at it for a couple of days. It looks slick, but $297? I don't care if it is in Aus $, that's a chunk of change for what looks like a midi macro app...

Whats your guys' experiences?
 
I have a copy of it that I tried to use with a VS-880EX, it was primarly a MIDI control interface, not really very useful at all.
