simple question:
does anyone have strong feelings about any of these? my current frontrunner is the Tech21 as i'd heard the vox has a few reliability issues. i'm also loathed to pay for DSP that i don't really need as i have a little armoury of pedals i've always used. the tech21 seems very flexible.
i need something that will cope with a fairly wide range of styles as i play for a fair few folk on a casual basis. (often very casual)
the wildcard is the Hughes & Kettner Matrix 100 - i've always liked H&K but never been able to run to the money or the halfway decent amps in the range - the new matrix 100 looks good value, but i have a feeling it's only jut come out.
i fell in love with the Engl 50w combo, but the studio is soaking up money that i would otherwise be ploughing into guitar toys.
