If it sounds good until you put a mastering plugin on your master fader, don't do that! Instead, splurge for a mastering engineer. I think this would be way more worthwhile than upgrading anything in your signal chain. It's true, an sm7b might be more appropriate for what you're doing... I've got one and love it. But I'm sure you can good results with the Blue mic too.
