Maybe this should go in another section of the forum and if it should, I apologize, and please feel free to move it. Can you guys please review this small snippet of my song I recorded and tell me what the heck is going on with my vocal frequencies? I don't know if it's the microphone (a Realistic Highball dynamic, nothing fancy smancy), if it's a compression/EQ problem, or a voice technique problem, or maybe all! I know it's a short sample but I figure this is where I hear the problem most in the song and it gives an idea. This frequency stuff is bothering my ears; however, family and friends don't notice it. Advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
