As a long-time VM200 user...I thought that placing a VM88 alongside would be a great idea. I already had a VC-8 A/D/A converter, but I was thinking about selling that and using this VM88 for my 2nd set of ADAT I/O in my PC.
I have it hooked up with 8 inputs...4 mics + 4 1/4" inputs... I'm taking my outputs at this time off of the ADAT outputs of the VM88. I basically temporarily removed the fully-functioning VM200 in order to configure and familiarize myself with the VM88....and rackmount my VM200.
Anyway, all of my ins/outs are obviously functioning. I tested all 8 inputs from the various mics. However, I don't see any activity on the LCD for input levels, or lit LED's on the level meter. I know that these do work, because if I swich off ST OUT, or set the faders to Fader Lock, then the complete LED's will flash on and off continuously. Also, if I press 'Fader Adjust', I can move the sliders and see them move up and down on the LCD display.
Am I doing something wrong? It must be something simple!
Thanks in advance!
