Hi all!

I have a question in general;

What are the real advantages of working with digital desks. Different manufacturers are saying many different things about there digital desks. About how great they are, how less space they take, etc. Restoring your settings in the blink of an eye is one of the big advantages this I know.

I currently work with a Spirit Studio 24/8 desk and I really like the analogue feel. Is this a downside for digital desks? Furthermore I really would like to go more in depth working with a digital environment. Since some months now I started with hard disk recording and it opened up an entirely new world for me!

I heard from my local dealer that the Roland VM 7000 mixer is a great way to start working digital. Any comments on that?

Thnx in advance!

Ryan
