are there such software that just work as an real amplifier? something I can use in real time hard disk recording to get more out of the mic?
 
Well, that depends on what you mean with "real" amplifier. Of course there is software that works like a real amplifier in the strict sense, and you got it all over your your HD recording system.

But you ask a bout preamps. And talk about getting "more out of" you mic. A preamp is used to raise the signal level of a mic before you record it, so that you can use the full dynamic range of the recording system, and thus get less noise. This you can't do afterwards, becasue you will amplify the noise with the signal, so a preamp needs to exist before you convert the signl to digital. Thats what pre in preamp means. :)
Is this what you mean when you say "more"? It's kind of fuzzy...
 
There's no substitute for a real mic pre but there are programs that will let you "tweek"
material like antereas mic modeler. It won't turn an SM-57 into a U-87a but they're cool anyways.
