Vintage Traynor amps

I'm in the market for a new amp head. I've been checking around ebay here and there. I've been eyeing the old vintage Traynor 100 watt amp heads. I was just curious if anyone has played one.

Please share your experience.

Good stuff, I've always liked the old Traynor stuff, the YBA1 is a very good thing. Big meaty tone, not sure what to relate it to but definitely not a real gainy amp, it's got some growl though. All in all real tough to beat for $350 or whatever they're going for these days.

I like vintage Traynor stuff. There smaller tube amps are killer for recording.

I played a Traynor YGL combo, it was really versatile turned low it sounded kind of like a fender twin, then you turn up the power stage which uses EL34's I believe and it starts to sound kind of like a JCM800.

thanks guys that helps,,, I was just looking into em a bit but never really heard one. The price they're going for isn't bad at all. I'm really wanting something tube 100 watts that be balistic.
