When importing a video in Cubase (or Nuendo for that matter), is the video file (and thumbnails) stored in the system RAM, or in the RAM present on the graphics card? I want to know if buying a graphics card with more ram onboard will increase speed when working with video files (not having to reload thumbnails and having delays because the video isn't fully loaded yet).
