vf80 being tempermental

has anyone else had problems with their vf80 not playing tracks that should be playing and having to turn tracks off and on again a bunch of times or stop and restart a program before getting the machine to acknowledge them? mine has. Its no good.

Nobody has raised this before. Sure it's not finger trouble?

the green light above the track will be on, but i wont hear it...it seems like my machine is just getting confused. it doesnt happen all of the time and is only a minor inconveiniance because all i have to do is stop the music, and fiddle with the tracks....turn them on and off and the like, and then it works correctly.
