One of my best friends is a Vietnam veteran. I have spent many a veterans day and memorial day with him. this song was his story coming through me. My class is going to cook a taylor ham, eggs, home fries, breakfast for the teacher in the room next to us. He served in Vietnam and is still struggling with the experience deeply. My special education students are excited to do this. They really don't understand war and killing. They are love Buddhas and love to give love. I think he will really appreciate their love tomorrow.
