Usingf tracks recorded in different resolution

Hi,

Finally managed to set up my Duo to work in 24 Bit properly. The thing is, and I'm not really sure whether it's an N-Track problem or maybe this is just the way it is, but if I try to use tracks that were recorded in 16/44.1 together with tracks recorded in 24/48, the whole thing crashes like there's no tomorrow.
If I want to use a Fruity Loops generated WAV with a new project, can I just re-save the file using Sound Forge or something in the different format, or will this cause any difference in sound quality?

You can't mix tracks that were recorded at different sample rates; convert them first. You can mix tracks that were recorded at different bit depths, however.
