Using press and media to your advantage.

Recently I've been getting some attention from local press.
I was wondering if theres a way to use this as a long term promotional tool as well as the obvious sudden burst of attention.

I know it's useful to add press clips to press kits... But what part of the clip?
Is there anything else that can be done to take advantage of this free publicity?

The articles are here

How have you in the past made use of such tools?

Thanks,

Luke

Looks like nobody's interested in this, but I would like to take it a bit further.
I am about to release a CD in an interesting way.

Would it have more impact on the public if I released premature press releases with an estimated delivery date... or if I wait until the product is finished and ready to buy?

I've already got a buzz going with local venues and press...
I want to take full advantage of the foundation thats built, and keep the ball rolling.

What do you folks suggest.

Get the CD out ASAP if you can. Might as well strike while the iron's hot. Nice articles BTW, Congrats. :)

They stay with you for life. You can use quotes from those articles forever as long as you name the source and writer. You can send the whole article or use blurbs:

"DavidK's violin tone was small but offensive"- Washington Times :D
