Hello!

So I want to use my Golden Age 73 Pre Amp and bypass the preamp on the Duet and just use the Duet for its converters. Please tell by the pics if I did this right, on the main pic I highlighted the cables in microsoft paint so you could better see where they are connected. Thanks!

I'm not sure, I put this together right before I went out of town and took the pics to see if I did it right, do you use the Duet as well?

no, sorry - neither one, actually. But it looks like something that would either work or not work, no?

looks like your preamp which I'm not familiar with has balanced
outs so you would want to go from there to a balanced line in.
The jack your plugged in is not balanced.
Go in to the Maestro software and set the TRS mic inputs to line.
This sets them to grouped and makes phantom power no longer an option
on the duet, so you would use it on the out pre if required.
Now make the connection with a balanced TRS cable.
The only time you would want to use the other 1/4 ins is for a non balanced
instrument or interface.
