Using a Boss DR-5 to drive EZDrummer

Hi all,

I have been using a Boss DR-5 for years now, and I'm very comfortable in writing my songs on it (drums, bass, keys).
I write the patterns and tie them all together for a song.
I then record the tracks on to my Roland VS-2480
I'm just not all that thrilled with the drum sounds on the DR-5 though.
I bought EZDrummer and have it on my laptop, and like the kit sounds.
Does anyone know how to get the DR-5 to drive EZ-Drummer (midi/usb connection maybe) on the laptop?
I'd then run the headphone out of the laptop to the VS-2480

Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated!

Yeah just plug it in via midi. One of those cheap usb to midi converters should work fine.

I'm speculating here, but my guess is whatever the BR-5 plays will get transmitted in midi (GM map probably) at the same time.
