anybody use an MPD or similar MIDI controller with audition for manipulating sound files? Does audition run MIDI? Im trying to find out before I go and buy a midi controller
 
Have a look in the options menu when you are in the multi-track window of audition and choose device properties. It is in this menu where you enable an externel device, the programme is already set up with mackie control. Once you select mackie control you are given the option to configure. Configure the Midi input device and output device as your sound card. You can now link your external controller to your software via the MIDI in on your sound card.
