Just got a manual in the mail from Aphex for my Aphex 622 gate I bought ever-so-slighylu used and had Jim Williams at Audio Upgrades mod. They even sent it to me free of charge, no questions asked! I certainly appreciate that... That's rare these days... And they didn't have to!
Right-off, I could tell this was a "real" manual... You know, with parts list, schematic and all, like everyone use to! REAL useful!
Anyway, I just want to publically give Aphex credit for keeping their professionalism over the years. Yeah, their "Tubessence" marketing was a bad move, but they're still making exceptional gear that rocks NOT in that line that goes unconsidered and underated in today's market.
