use dfh with v-drums?

Hey...... seriously information difficient non-drummer here

...I know a guy thats selling a yamaha dtxpress kit, and im wondering if i can use it to trigger dfh in my sequencer. .....I know dumb question, sorry.

..any elaboration of setup, pros and cons of that particular kit for this use, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure about Dfh but I use DFHS with a TD3 kit and it works fine.

I'm planing on getting a td3 and i have been told that the new dfh has settings for roland v-drums!
At a guess the yamaha kit should work, at the end of the day it's midi!

Yup any midi instrument can trigger any vst its all down to what you want to do with them.
