a good idea?
a friend of mine used one of these Edirol thingammybobs

to record "poseidons last breath" here http://www.myspace.com/hadeschariot
and we thought the overall sound was pretty good considering the price.
my main concern is lag when running through Cubase SX3, although i have a semi decent laptop im recording with,
intel core 2 duo T5750 2.0Ghz with 2GB DDR2 SDram and a 250 gb HDD
is this something which should run ok? im looking to create good soundding demo's mainly, not something industry standard obviously.
