On my desktop I use a layla and a gina sound card for my main recording.Drums, Guitars, Bass, Vocals. I travel alot and would like to add guitar and vocals using my laptop. I was wondering which would be the better USB recording device. Tascam US-122-
edirol ua 25---or some other, I have around $300. to spend. I've read some reviews on the US 122 and it seems people have some trouble with the drivers on these units. My laptop is a Dell 9100 Inspiron, 3.0 GHz, 512 MB , 60 GB 7200 rpm,( I also have an Iomega 250 GB 7200 rpm harddrive to store data) 2.0 USB ports. I already do most of my main mixing on this computer. Thanks for any help.
