USB Condenser Mic or Lexicon Lambda

I need a little help figuring out what's the best route for an entry level home recording. I'm not going to be recording any instruments, it's strictly vocal and the mixing it with the karaoke tracks that I already have.

I own both a Mac and a PC so either way would be fine.

I didn't realized that you can have a USB condenser microphone and skip having the USB box all together until about 5 minutes ago but I'm not sure how well it would sound. I'm debating between the Samson c01u USB Microphone and the Lexicon Lambda.

If I go with the USB mixer route, I already have a wireless Shure SM58 with a PGX4 that I'm currently using for my karaoke system that I can use (if that's the better route)

Does anyone have experience with either of these device or the pros and cons of having a straight USB Condenser Mic vs going with a USB Audio interface.

Both of these can be had used for $75 or less but if I need to pay a little more to get much better quality vocal I'd listen.
