US-1641 vs US-2000

Hi,

I am deciding between those two. They are similarly speced, except slightly different channel routing and the fact that US-2000 has metering LEDs and sexier housing. And costs twice more.

Question is - are they different beasts sonically? Any other major differences I have missed? Is it really worth gettin US-2000 over US-1641 or in the bottom line we get the same result on track for twice of the money?

Us-1641

I bought the 1641 recently. Clean as a whistle and good latency (a few msecs) when used with Propellerhead's Record.
