Haven't been around much--been busy.
--I have established a permanent record/tape/CD exchange in my hometown, which is doing surprisingly well.
Now I would like to create a vinyl/CD/tape bartering exchange so independant musicians can get exposure in my area and hopefully
duplicate the model I've set up in towns everywhere.What I have found is that the same consumers interested in vinyl are also interested in all kinds of independant music.Therefore I've basically gone through the "back door" to create a market for myself and those homereccers and indie labels that don't mind putting some effort into creating a real and defineable distribution system.
What would be required is for those interested to be prepared to
establish a similiar outlet in their area and commit to run it at least 1 day per week.Yes, you probably will make some money, based on how much time you put in.This is not a franchise scam
and my motives are simple,if I don't have anyone to barter with,
the system won't work.
I'll supply any info and support needed to interested parties.
You guys want distribution for your stuff, then fine, let's make some...
