One home studio guy I know had trouble getting UAD-1 to work correctly on a G4 dual w/ DP3. UAD-1 apparently knocked out one of the two processors in his dual processor set up. So he sold it and got Powercore, and it worked perfectly out of the box. Not sure if that's a general problem or just some issue with his configuration. I've heard most of the Powercore tools and they sound great.
