Trying to practice by recording a iron maiden cover song. need help

I have been attempting to learn home recording on and off for a few years now. To get more practice I want to try to record a cover song by iron maiden. I want to record guitars and bass all by myself. For drums planning on using a guitarpro track. For vocals I have found some isolated vocal tracks.

Problem Is i just cant seem to get the timing right. when i play the drumtrack with the vocals, I just cant get them to line up. I am guessing this is a tempo issue. Does anyone have experience with this and how to figure this problem out?

Use time stretch where necessary to get things lined up. Easy in Reason. Easy in SoundForge. That's all I have experience in, besides Sonar, which I never did time stretch with...
