True

i think the lead guitar may be a bit to loud in some parts and the vocals a bit low in other parts. Let me know what you think.

I think the lead guitar needs to take a break during the chorus.

the beginning sounds awesome.

I'd put a plug-in on some of the vox, and clean 'em up. some of the vox parts sound good and other parts don't.

same stuff i need to do. we're no Pavarotti but we don't need all the effects Justin Timberlake does either.

i hear the Cure influence

i think justin timberlake sings pretty good actually. not that i'm a fan or anything, but i saw this live thing on HBO and he was pretty decent. Anyway, you think the lead guitar needs to be taken out completely during the chorus? i think it's a pretty decent guitar line i just think it needs be mixed in better so that it's not taking over. i was thinking that the rhythm guitar need to come up a bit too, no?

Pretty good alternative stuff, Grey.
The lead in the chorus is a good idea, I feel it a bit too in front though. Maybe some delay would help give it some depth. Also when the distorted guitars come in, the voice is a little low. Clean guitars and bass sound very good.

Joey :):):):)

yeah rhythm up and lead down.
I'll take another listen

but timberlake doesn't do any songs without effects all over the vocal.

he just sounds nasally and tinny to me but most people would probably say i suck worse than him.

vox sound alot better

and that lead during the chorus...maybe it's too repetitive for my taste.

I hope I'm not being too harsh; it's just that honest feedback is what us, who are learning, really need.

listen to my stuff and shred it, if you would.

Mix sounds good - the distorted lead is still a wee bit loud in spots and the vocals kinda fade a bit because of it....
Very modern sounding songwriting - I dig it!
