Transferring Motif Song to Cubase SE - Help

Can anyone help me with this one? I am trying to transfer one of my Songs on the Motif to Cubase (MIDI data, not audio). I want to record all 5 tracks in one take. For whatever reason, Cubase records all MIDI data from all 5 channels onto all 5 MIDI tracks I set up in Cubase rather than filtering each MIDI channel to the appropriate MIDI track.

Is there some routing/filtering setting I am missing? This is very straightforward in Sonar and I have successfully done it this way several times.

Looks like I found the answer - Input Transformer.

Seems to me Seinberg made it more difficult than it needs to be. Why not simply allow the user to select the input channel like Sonar?
