I am looking at recording some local singer/songwriters to make
CDs and tapes available for sale to the tourist market in my area.
The idea is to provide entertainment to tourist stops and campgrounds along a stretch of highway called "The Gold Rush Trail" which has a lot of traffic. (on the way to Alaska)
25 sites have been identified and commitments for venues have been obtained--that is the musician just arrives and puts on his/her show for the tourists and sells music.Some paying gigs
are also included from time to time...
Generally, the music will be acoustic country,folk and blues in
keeping with the flavour of the area.
Just wanted to share an idea with you that might work for you .
