Your mission is to help me connect a Roland SRV-3030D with digital RCA connectors to my Yamaha AW16G with Toslink connectors utilizing the digital aux in and out.

In searching this forum I found one or two threads saying it can't be done and one or two more saying I just need a fifteen dollar adapter.

In the yes corner we have:
Does your soundcard have coaxial (RCA connector) or optical (TosLink) S/PDIF I/O?

In the no can do corner we have:
The minidisc input is a digital one, the kind that takes a toslink cable. Is there such a cable that has the rca connctor at one side to come from my audiophile and go into the minidisc and transfer a S/PDIF signal?

Can someone clear this up for me?

Thanks Raw-Tracks,

I did some more reading and found more people referrenceing the CO2 and my AW16G does support S/PDIF so I picked up the CO2 yesterday and some digital RCA cable. I already have the Toslinks.
