Too Much Gain for Delta 1010LT

I have a Yamaha MG 16/4 mixer that I use to run line outs to my Delta 1010LT card in my computer. I've always just set the gain on the mixer so that the levels on my recording software looked good, but that meant having the gain way down a lot of times. How can I change the settings on my Delta so that I can turn up the gain on my mixer without clipping on the computer? Thanks.

You should be able to open up your delta control panel and under the tab called Hardware Settings there will be the option to adjust the input and output levels of the card.

Thanks. I guess I'll just play with those until I get everything working the way it should be. Right now the input level is +4, so if I change it to 0 or -10, that would allow me to add more gain on the mixer without clipping, right? I'm pretty sure output level has nothing to do with it.

Yes, if you turn down the input levels you should be able to add more gain on the mixer as long as you dont clip the mixer.
