I use a bike seat style (cloth - to absorb sweat) with a back rest (for the lull during playback, or between songs, etc.)- I also have the hydraulic control.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I spend waaaay too much time on the drum throne - I want the absolute best.

When I sold drums, it always amased me that people will spend several hundred (perhaps a couple thousand) on a drum kit and then buy the cheapest throne.

The throne is a drummers center of gravity - which effects our 4 way coordination - we need, no we deserve the best!!
