The Recording Connection | Audio Engineering and Music Producing School

Is the Recording Connection a good start for me? I am an 18 year old and I am into music production. I have never had any formal instruction regarding music recording, but I have learned along the way. I currently record our band using a multitrack interface and Logic Pro 9. Would the Recording Connection be a good way for me to strengthen my skills? Thank you
 
I'm sure that school would do a great job of teaching you more in-depth aspects and techniques of recording, but I think it's also important to know that just because you have a bunch of great gear or a bunch of great knowledge, you aren't guaranteed to be able to make a great recording. Practice is the only way you can get good at recording and making music. The more time you put into sharpening your skills and training your ears, the better the final outcome will be.
