The order of VST plugins

Check me out, two posts on the same day.

Imagine hardware effects such as a compresser, reverb, noise gate etc. Does n-track actually order these on the list in the track? What I'm getting at is I would want a noise gate before the reverb, so the reverb isn't affected. Is this so in n-track? Can it be done?

You can place effects in any order you wish within n-Track.
The order goes from top to bottom in the effects insert window.
Whatever effect that is listed at the top, will be the first effect in the chain.
