the chain of efx?

After getting rid of all my digita/rack efx (quadraverb rp? etc) I am using a wah, delay, and compressor. My amp has an efx send-return and would like to use this method to chain the pedals. What is the best order to place these efx?

In my opinion the optimal setup would be with the compressor into the wha into the amp input and the delay into the FX loop.
