The better monitor (RF noise) - CRT or LCD

Seems that my Dell P990 monitor is getting ready to give up the ghost. Though not relishing the thought of laying out $$$ for a new monitor, I'm possibly considering an LCD monitor, for the following reason: Recording with my guitar in front of my CRT creates NOISE. A nice little buzz. I'm guessing (though not sure) that an LCD will not have this problem.

Anyone else out there chosen LCD over CRT for the specific reason of noise?

hi there Silva,i´ve got the same problem,my monitor causes a hell of a noise when i play guitar,do a search if you will on the topic ,some time ago i askeed the same and there where some feedback here in this forum.:
