Just a thought, don't know if it would work within the melodic structure.

Change "Is it really me?" to "Or is it just an echo from somewhere deep inside of me?"

I have a couple of other minor suggestions, but I don't want to offer them unless you are interested, because they may not work within the melodic structure either and what I have to offer may be totally unnecessary. I also agree that the last few lines are very nice.
