Tascam US-800

Ok so i've just got my Tascam US-800 and was working fine the first time i used it. I've just gone to use it for second time after shutting down and turning everything off but for some reason its not been found, any idea why this might be?
 
Turn the Tascam US-800 power on before kicking on your DAW. It doesn't have a power switch, so I have it plugged into a power strip along with my monitors and mixer.
 
Assuming you have Windows 7 or Vista, most importantly, turn on the US800 'after' Windows boots. It is not recognized if unit is on before Widows is booted. A problem with the driver and how it works with newer versions of Windows. Otherwise, it works fine.
