Tascam US-428 Substitutes?

I have an M-Audio OmniStudio USB, but I think I going to return it for something I little better. I was looking at the Tascam US-428. It has the features I want and it's in my price range, but is there anything comparable to the US-428 that I should also look at? Thanks guys.

I love the 428 I've had mine since april and have no complaints with it I love mixing with my hands. So it is a nice and affordable machine. Plus u can setup the f keys on it to use as shortcuts as far as cut, copy,delete and other shortcuts. No complaints and I don't think there is anything better in that price range.
 
If you need phantom power, you'll need an outboard box. I use a US428 as a control surface and it's a lot of bang for the buck ($300US new).
