A buddy of mine recently gifted me with a Tascam US-122 interface. I looked online and some sites said to try the Vista drivers. I installed them in compatibility mode and then plugged in the device. It was foudn and installed correctly so then I opened Audacity and I pointed it to the US-122 as the recording device. WHen I hit record nothing happens in mono. When I put it on Stereo it's VERY faint waves and sounds really muddy. the levels on the device are all cranked up and what not so I'm just kind of at a loss here. Oh yeah, I also ran Audacity in both norm and compatibility (Vista SP-2) mode and the same thing.
Can anyone off up any advice here?
