Hi guys, due to your help, I have now decided I will go for the KRK RP5's.

I would like to know what connection I would need to run to link them up.

Firstly, will 1 monitor power the other? In this case i would use the following:

1 phono (into the US-122) to 1 1/4" (into the monitor) would i need a mono or stero jack?

or 2. If both monitors need inputs.

1 phono (into US-122) to 2 XLR's into each monitor.

The monitor support both connections, but which one would I need for my specific set up?

Any solution would finalize my home studio for my new material that I am dying to record!

Thanks people. James.

connection

any ideas on what connection cable i would need?

I would like to buy these monitors ASAP but would like to know what leads i will need to make them compatible.

a response would mean the world.

You will need 2 phono to 1/4 inch cables.
Both monitors are powered and both have inputs on them, so you will run the left out of the US122 into a monitor, and the right out to the other monitor.

I am using this set up right now.

phono to 1/4"

When you say '2' phono to 1/4" how do you mean?

The tascam has only 1 phono line output?

will i need a splitter that will create 2 phono's out of the 1 it has at te moment?

please give me a hand as you are using this exact same set up :)

Take a quick look at the attachment to see what I was describing. you will need 2 phono to 1/4 cables to go from your Line Outs of the US 122 to the inputs of each monitor.

Thankyou.

The cables i was going to purchase, had 2 phono (1 black and 1 red) to 1 1/4" (black).

I realize I now need 2 phono to 2 1/4".

thanks for the help people!
